How can I get Firearms Training

There are different aspects of firearms training:

(1) The training that you need to complete to obtain a firearms license

Firearms Safety (Non Restricted & Restricted, P.A.L.) and Hunter Education Courses.
The courses are conducted every month with a minimum of 10 candidates.

For more information or to sign-up for the next course E-Mail:  training@collingwoodrodandgunclub.com

(2) The training that you need to access the range.

This is the Club level safety training specific to the Collingwood Rod and Gun Club.  It is offered once each year usually in May or September when there are sufficient Members to fill the class.

(3) Marksmanship coaching

On alternate Monday evenings our Club offers the opportunity for Members to shoot under the supervision of our Range Officer.  Shooting skills are developed through practice and our Range Officer and other Club Members can point out the common errors that negatively affect  shooting ability.
